Although in the UK Xoloitzcuintle are better known as "Mexican Hairless", this breed does have both a Coated and a Hairless Variety.

The Hairless gene is dominant, but this does not irradicate Coated puppies. Throughout the World both Hairless and Coated puppies alike do very well as Therapy Dogs, Companians, and Compete in Agility and Obedience.
